Our team consists of long‑serving craftsmen who take pride in their work and in each other. Many have been with us for decades. Others joined after experiencing chaotic job sites elsewhere and found something rare: structure, training, leadership, and pride.

We don’t just lay floors.

Michael Keroack

Founder & Owner

About Michael

Michael Keroack, the founder and owner of Authentic Hardwood Flooring, has always had a passion for hardwood flooring. He first began his career in hardwood flooring installation in Hartford, CT back in 1986 at just 18 years old.

After nearly a decade of honing his craft, Michael moved to Atlanta where he continued to gain experience within the industry until he eventually opened Authentic Hardwood Flooring in 1999. Although Michael’s work keeps him busy, he and his wife Peggy also find time to travel and attend their favorite sporting events together, eagerly cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and the Boston Red Sox.

When they aren’t on the road, Michael can be found spending quality time with family – joining his brother once a year for an annual snowmobiling trip to northern Maine and Quebec Canada.

For many years, the two have braved the cold to travel to “lumber land,” and Michael plans to keep this tradition alive for as long as possible.

Buddy Wofford

General Manager

About Buddy

Buddy started with AHF in 2020. His duties include day-to-day office operations, marketing initiatives, advertising, sales training, and administrative duties. Buddy also works directly with AHF’s customers, setting appointments, estimating, sales, and follow-up. Buddy has been in the home services industry since 2006 and very much enjoys working with customers to help them improve their homes and the smiles that go with it.

Buddy enjoys spending time with family and friends. His hobbies include traveling, shooting pool, going to the movies, and spending quality time with his partner.

Michael Blocker

Opertions Manager

About Michael

Michael started installing and refinishing floors for Authentic Hardwood Flooring in 2004, then was promoted to Direction of Operations in 2015. Michael manages day-to-day production and job scheduling for up to 8 crews at any given time. He is also responsible for job costing and all material orders, including all hardwood flooring, LVP, engineered flooring, and supplies. Michael works with all of AHF’s remodelers and designers, which includes trade walks, estimating, and relationship building.

Michael is the father of 3 – daughters, Makayla, Alaura, and son Jakob. He enjoys spending time fishing, swimming, and camping with his children.

Ryan Cornett

Sales Consultant

About Ryan

Ryan is a Metro Atlanta native with nearly a decade of experience in the high-end remodeling industry. He joined Authentic Hardwood Flooring in 2024, bringing with him a proven track record of working with discerning homeowners and design professionals who expect both exceptional quality and a refined experience. He currently resides in Buckhead with his wife and approaches every project with a consultative, detail-driven mindset.

At Authentic Hardwood Flooring, Ryan specializes in guiding clients through premium flooring selections in the comfort of their home, ensuring each decision aligns with both the aesthetic vision and long-term investment of the property. With a deep understanding of luxury materials, craftsmanship, and current design trends, he helps clients achieve results that elevate the overall space. He also works closely with high-end remodelers and builders to cultivate lasting partnerships and deliver consistent, top-tier results.

Ryan is committed to providing a seamless, white-glove experience from initial consultation through project completion. His ability to anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and execute at a high level makes him a trusted resource for clients who value both quality and professionalism.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time on the golf course, being out on the lake, exploring new restaurants, and attending a wide range of sporting events.

Rudy Barrientos

Quality Control Manager

About Rudy

Rudy started working as an installer for Authentic Hardwood Flooring in 2015. His over 10 years’ experience quickly moved Rudy into a foreman position and then recently into his current roll at Quality Control Manager. Rudy works daily with almost every residential customer and our design remodel companies to ensure our top-quality standards and requirements are met.

Rudy has been married for over 21 years and has 3 beautiful, very active boys. He enjoys spending time with his immediate family here in Atlanta as well as his extended family in Oklahoma. When vacation time comes around, you’ll find Rudy, his wife, and his boys on a beach somewhere in Florida sunning and having fun!
